Who this page is for
You may be walking on eggshells, avoiding topics to keep the peace, or stuck in people-pleasing that breeds resentment. You might feel trapped in all-or-nothing thinking, jealous spirals, or guilt after anger. We’ll clarify what you feel, think, and do in those moments—and map where you have leverage to shift the cycle.

How relationship therapy works here
We start with a simple plan and measurable goals (communication that lands, repair after rupture, steadier boundaries). I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals (EFIT/EFT) to name core emotions and needs so the pattern changes from the inside out; Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) to address roles, grief, and transitions; and Psychodynamic therapy to understand repeating themes and attachment expectations. We also use CBT/ACT for thoughts and behavior, DBT-informed skills for emotion regulation, and brief mindfulness/somatic tools to settle the nervous system so new choices become possible. If trauma, anxiety, mood disorder symptoms, or substance use are part of the picture, we integrate trauma-informed and addiction-aware care. Recovery supports can include 12-step or non-12-step options—your values lead.

What sessions feel like
Structured and human. We set priorities together, practice skills in session, and translate insights into steps you can use between sessions. I explain why we’re using each method and invite your feedback throughout so the work stays relevant and respectful.

I’m licensed in California (LPCC #12680) and Nevada (CP #6121-R). Video sessions are available statewide for adults in both states with the same level of structure, privacy, and follow-through you would expect in person.

FAQ
Do you see individuals or couples?
I work with individuals (not couples). If helpful, I can coordinate with your partner’s therapist.
Can I work on trust, jealousy, or boundary issues without my partner present?
Yes. We target the cycle you can influence—your emotions, meanings, and actions—so your side of the pattern changes.
Is telehealth available if I’m not in Los Angeles?
Yes—sessions are available statewide in California and Nevada, plus walk-and-talk options in West Hollywood/Beverly Hills.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes—Aetna and Optum/UnitedHealthcare (including Oxford). We verify benefits before the first session.
