A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL CLINICAL COUNSELOR

Therapeutic Qualifications and Approach:
As a Licensed Therapist specializing in trauma and addiction, my practice is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and cultural humility. My goal is to create a collaborative, empathetic, and trusting environment that honors the resilience of the human spirit. I'm dedicated to delivering therapy that values diversity and inclusivity, guided by a deep sense of cultural humility.
Personal Journey and Therapeutic Insight:
Having personally faced addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges, I offer more than just clinical expertise. My lived experiences shape my approach, allowing me to offer real-world insights and practical coping strategies. I focus on identifying individual patterns and needs, tailoring my support to help you thrive. Openly discussing my own journey, I aim to destigmatize mental health issues while emphasizing self-care, boundaries, and overall well-being.
Specialized Experience with LGBTQ+ and Polyamorous Communities:
I have gained valuable experience working within the LGBTQ+ community, and I recognize their unique challenges and strengths. I also have expertise in assisting polyamorous clients, both within and outside the LGBTQ+ spectrum, particularly in matters of communication and self-identity. I am committed to providing therapy that is both affirming and inclusive, appreciating the diversity within LGBTQ+ identities and varied relationship models.
Methodology and Therapeutic Relationship:
Your journey with me will be rooted in a safe, non-judgmental space designed for open dialogue. Our therapeutic relationship will prioritize mutual trust and active engagement. During our sessions, we'll focus on processing trauma, building coping mechanisms, and preventing potential relapses. My approach is hands-on and goal-oriented, aiming to facilitate your growth through ongoing support and accountability.
Interactive Engagement and Ongoing Growth:
I go beyond passive listening by actively participating in our discussions. I’ll introduce thought-provoking questions and fresh perspectives to encourage deeper understanding. Each session will leave you with actionable tasks and exercises to continue your growth outside our meetings. My ultimate aim is to equip you with the self-awareness and practical tools needed for lasting, positive change in your life.
My style is warm, reflective, and genuine. I welcome and value collaboration and input during the therapeutic process.
I am an educator at heart, dedicated to merging the art of therapy with comprehensive education on mental health and the mind-body connection.
